| Bobby Got a Burn | | Bobby Got a Burn is an interactive procedural preparation story centered around Bobby who is at the hospital to have his burn bandages changed.
Designed for use by children in the waiting room, this story prepares them for the standard procedures, people and medical instruments they are about to come into contact with during their visit to the hospital.
While having fun getting to know Bobby, his mum, Nurse Nora and Dr Dan, children will be asked to find certain objects to continue the story. The camera angle can be rotated and swivelled 360 degrees around the scene to look for objects simply by tipping and turning the ditto™ Portable Console.
When the child has found the required item, they press it on the touch screen. When all the objects have been located, a reward movie will play. The young users relate to the story...'cause Bobby got a burn, just like them!

| Bobby Has a Garment Measure and Application | | Designed for use by children in the Outpatient waiting room, the Bobby Garment Measure and Application story readies the child for the standard procedure of having a garment measured to treat burn injuries. While having fun getting to know Bobby, his mum and therapist Sally, the child will be asked to find certain objects to continue the story.
The camera angle can be rotated and swiveled 360 degrees around the scene simply by tipping and turning the dittoTM Portable Console. When the child has found the required item, they press it on the touch screen. When all the objects have been located, a reward movie will play.
Each scene shows Bobby at a different stage of his garment measuring and then his return visit to have his first garment applied. Bobby asks many questions along the way, which helps the child to understand why he/she must wear a garment and the special care that he/she must take when wearing it.

| Bobby Gets a Skin Graft | | Designed for use by children in the Preadmission Clinic or waiting room, the Bobby Skin Graft story readies the child for the general procedure of having a skin graft. The story enables the child to see Bobby having an explanation of what a skin graft will be in simple terms from Doctor Dan. It details the general nature of the graft and helps to educate the child about the process of having a skin graft, what he/she will need to do on the day, and how he/she might feel after the operation.
While having fun looking around the 3D scene and getting to know Bobby, his mum, Nurse Marie and Doctor Dan, the child will be able to see Bobby ask questions that many children have about surgical procedures. | |
